Agreement

By using SkillsFrame ("Service"), you agree to these Terms of Service ("Terms").

Service Description

SkillsFrame is an AI-powered CV tailoring platform that helps you:

• Analyze job descriptions for fit
• Generate tailored CVs for specific roles
• Prepare for interviews

Current Status:
Live service with Free and Pro subscription tiers

Account Registration

Requirements:

• Provide accurate email and name
• Create a secure password
• You must be 16+ years old

Account Security:

• You are responsible for account security
• Do not share your credentials
• Notify us immediately of unauthorized access

Account Termination:

• You may delete your account anytime
• We may suspend accounts for Terms violations
• 30-day notice for service discontinuation

Acceptable Use

You may:

• Use SkillsFrame for personal job search
• Generate CVs based on your actual experience
• Share your tailored CVs with employers

You may not:

• Create accounts for others without permission
• Use SkillsFrame for fraudulent purposes
• Upload CVs containing false information
• Attempt to access other users' data
• Reverse engineer or scrape the Service
• Use the Service to harass or spam

Consequence:
Violations may result in immediate account suspension.

AI-Generated Content

Nature of AI Output:

• SkillsFrame uses AI (Anthropic Claude, OpenAI) to generate CV content
• AI output is based on your uploaded CV and job descriptions
• AI-generated content may contain errors or inaccuracies

Your Responsibility:

• Review all AI-generated content before use
• Ensure factual accuracy of your CV
• You are solely responsible for content you submit to employers
• Do not rely solely on AI output without human review

No Warranty:

• We do not guarantee AI output accuracy
• We do not guarantee job application success
• AI is a tool to assist, not replace, your professional judgment

Intellectual Property

Your Content:

• You retain all rights to your uploaded CVs and data
• By using the Service, you grant us a license to process your content for Service functionality only
• We do not claim ownership of your CVs or career data

Our Content:

• SkillsFrame interface, code, and positioning frames are our property
• You may not reproduce or redistribute without permission

AI-Generated Content:

• Tailored CVs generated by AI are your property
• We retain no rights to your exported CVs

Data and Privacy

Your use of SkillsFrame is subject to our Privacy Policy.

Key Points:

• We process your data to provide the Service
• Your data is not sold to third parties
• You can delete your data anytime

Subscription Plans

Free Tier (no payment required):

• Upload your CV and build your skills profile
• 1 role analysis
• Up to 3 roles in your application pipeline
• 1 tailored CV generation

Pro Tier — €29/month:

• 5 tailored CV generations per month
• Unlimited role analyses
• Unlimited pipeline roles
• Interview preparation features
• Additional CV generations available at €3 each

Early Access (Alpha) Users:

• Users who joined during the alpha phase receive 30 days of free Pro access
• You will be notified before your free period ends

Cancellation:

• Cancel your subscription at any time from Settings
• Access to Pro features continues until the end of the current billing period
• No refunds for partial months already paid

Payment Terms

Billing:

• Payments are processed by Stripe. We do not store your payment card details.
• Subscriptions renew automatically at the start of each billing period
• You will receive a receipt by email for each charge

Failed Payments:

• If a payment fails, Stripe will retry automatically
• After repeated failures, your subscription will be downgraded to the Free tier
• You will be notified by email before any downgrade

Refunds:

• No refunds for partial billing periods
• If you believe you were charged in error, contact us at legal@skillsframe.io within 14 days

Service Availability

Uptime:

• We strive for high availability but do not guarantee 100% uptime
• Scheduled maintenance will be announced when possible

Third-Party Dependencies:
Service relies on Anthropic, OpenAI, Supabase, Vercel
We are not liable for third-party service interruptions.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by Italian and EU law:

We are not liable for:

• Job application outcomes or hiring decisions
• Inaccuracies in AI-generated content
• Third-party service interruptions (Anthropic, OpenAI, Supabase)
• Data loss due to your failure to backup
• Indirect, consequential, or punitive damages

Maximum Liability:
Limited to fees paid to SkillsFrame in the 12 months preceding the claim

Exceptions:
We remain liable for gross negligence, intentional misconduct, and violations of mandatory consumer protection laws under Italian/EU law.

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify BlackBear and Diego Franciosi against claims arising from:

• Your violation of these Terms
• Your use of AI-generated content without proper review
• False information in your CVs
• Violations of third-party rights

Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind.

We do not warrant:

• Uninterrupted or error-free operation
• Accuracy of AI-generated content
• Fitness for a particular purpose
• Job application success

Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms to reflect:

• New features or pricing
• Legal requirements
• Service improvements

Notification:
Material changes will be announced 30 days in advance via email or dashboard notification.

Continued Use:
Using SkillsFrame after changes indicates acceptance.

Termination

By You:

• Delete your account anytime via Settings
• All data will be erased within 30 days

By Us:

• We may suspend accounts for Terms violations
• 30-day notice before service discontinuation (unless for cause)

Governing Law and Disputes

Jurisdiction:
Italy (Milan)

Governing Law:
Italian law, subject to mandatory EU regulations (GDPR, Consumer Rights Directive, AI Act)

Dispute Resolution:

2. Mediation preferred
3. Litigation in Milan courts if necessary

EU Consumers:
You retain rights under EU consumer protection laws, including the right to use your local courts.

Severability

If any provision is found unenforceable, the remaining Terms remain in effect.
